Fresh Powder

I have been hitting the slopes with Michelle, David, and Stacey this winter. I bought a snowboard and everything :) I have been up twice and still am learning. I will have it perfected soon though.. well hopefully.

The first two pictures are from the first time we went up and the last three are from the second time. Michelle was explaining to me in the second picture how to get off the lift. Just look at the scared look in my face :)

So far so good

So my New year has definitely been, to say the least, interesting :) I came home from work one day to find my room filled with balloons. Stacey and Michelle were the culprits. So they have officially started prank wars 2010 :) Now I just have to come back with a better prank towards them.

Well for New Years Eve I had a couple people come over to the apartment to ring in the New Year with my room-mate and I.

Getting Bigger

Riley (our kitten) has grown a lot since my last picture of her. So I thought I would post a more recent christmas picture of her.

Merry Christmas

I hope everybody had a very nice Christmas and enjoyed spending time with their families. I would have to say this Christmas season went way too fast but I still enjoyed it. The day before Christmas eve Trace and I visited Thoroughbred St in Rancho Cucamonga, where the whole street is decorated with Christmas lights and people sell hot coco and cookies. There was even some carolers and a boy playing Christmas music on the Piano. I had to work Christmas Eve that was kind of a bummer but I went over to my parents house after so we could celebrate moms birthday. We opened presents and had pie. Christmas day was really fun. We exchanged gifts in the morning then had breakfast. For the rest of the day Matty and everybody else played the wii (one of his Christmas gifts). We had dinner later in the day and then Trace and I went to see Sherlock Holmes. We then went back to the house after that and played Wii some more :)
And oh I got an IPod touch from trace and I have not set it down since he gave it to me.

Birthdays!

Happy late birthday to my nephews Jordan and Calvin. Jordan's birthday was actually yesterday the 14th and Calvins was on the 12th. They are so big :) Hope you had a very fun birthday!

Decorations

Stacey and I have been decoarting our balcony at the apartments. There is a competition in the complex with who ever has the best decorations wins a lot of money so we tried our hardest with our decorations.

Halloween!

I love Halloween it is probably one of my favorite holidays. I went to Universal Studios Haunt earlier this month with Stacey, Michelle, Sarah, Trace, David, and Josh. The mazes were great and the scarers were awesome. If any of you have ever been to Universal Studios, you know about the back lot tour, well for the haunt fest they take you down there and they let you loose and you walk while being scared :) There was this one clown with a chainsaw that went up to my boyfriend and I and put the chainsaw in between his leg and then starts walking away and says, "Oops missed, sorry it was such a small package" Oh it was great. This week we are going to the Haunt at Knotts so we will see which one is better.

Yup! I am now a four eyed nerd with braces :)

Finally!

So I have always wanted a cat but never got one. So about a month after we moved into the apartment a friend of Stacey's found abandoned kittens in the field next to their house and we were able to take one. We got a girl kitten and named her Riley. Me and Stacey share custody of her :) She is a very playful kitten and loves to attack you at four in the morning when you are sleeping :) She does have her sweet moments. She loves to drink your water out of your cup, she will fall asleep on your lap when watching television . She also likes to chase and wag her tail and she also meets us at the door when we come home. When we first got her she had to be bottle fed because she was so young but not soon after she was able to start eating kitten formula mixed in with kitten food and now she is old enough to eat just kitten food alone.

Apartment Living

At the beginning of August, Stacey, Amy, and I got our own place. We moved into Mount Vista Apartments. We are in a three bedroom and on the upper level. Its pretty living on your own but home is still missed.

The first picture is my room. Wow it is actually clean :) The second one is mine and Stacey's bathroom. Amy has the master bedroom so she has her own bathroom. The third one is the dining room and then the last one is the living room. We got very lucky with our furniture. The couches were bought for us by Ryan (Stacey's boyfriend) for twenty dollars. The coffee table my parents found. We have a big screen television that was given to us by my boyfriend's parents. We got the refrigerator from my dad, he got it from his work. The microwave was a gift to us from my grandma and the dining room table was a gift to us from my boyfriend. So we were very lucky :)

Sin City

In July Stacey, Michelle, David, and I all went up to Vegas to visit Michelle's family. We spent the weekend there and we went to the lake rode on sea-doos and then we went to the strip. I have not been there in a long time and a lot has changed.

Getting ready to go on the strip and then that is all of us waiting outside of the Bellagio to see the water show. That night it actually started raining. We ended up seeing this show, the show at TI, we went into Paris and Cesar's Palace. I have never been in those Casinos, they were pretty neat.

Have not done this in a while

Wow the fourth of July was my last post. I have been really busy with school and work. And in August I moved into an apartment with one of my best friends and Amy. So that took a lot of my time too. I will post pictures of everything i have done since July today.

Happy Fourth of July.

I hope everybody enjoyed their Fourth of July. Since the Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays I had to do something this year. I threw a little Fourth of July BBQ and later in the afternoon we went to the fair grounds and saw fireworks. Kyle came down from navy training in Illinois and sis was home for the weekend so they got to celebrate with us. The grand finale of the fireworks at the fair grounds were pretty awesome but we did have a large group of rude people standing so close to our blankets that they were literally sitting on my parents laps. Other then that the day was pretty good.

Tattoo

Well today I went and got my first tattoo. All I can say is wow I got a really painful place to put it. I got it on the top of my foot and the tattoo artist said that the foot is one of the most painful spots. I went with Stacey, Michelle, and Nicole to get my tattoo done. Stacey also got her first tattoo which was on the foot and Michelle got her third tattoo on her wrist. No tats for Nicole! My tattoo artist was really cool and fun which made the process a little bit better. He told me what to expect and that it will hurt, which I liked because at-least he was honest. It was really painful and towards the end it got pretty unbearable but luckily it ended soon after that. My foot swelled up a pretty good size and was in a lot of pain after that tattoo was finished. It has gone down but it still hurts. Even though the tattoo hurt a lot I am glad I got it. It is a very elegant tattoo and is an artwork that I am glad will be with me forever but I do not think I will go get another one :)
