Birthdays!

Happy late birthday to my nephews Jordan and Calvin. Jordan's birthday was actually yesterday the 14th and Calvins was on the 12th. They are so big :) Hope you had a very fun birthday!

Decorations

Stacey and I have been decoarting our balcony at the apartments. There is a competition in the complex with who ever has the best decorations wins a lot of money so we tried our hardest with our decorations.

Halloween!

I love Halloween it is probably one of my favorite holidays. I went to Universal Studios Haunt earlier this month with Stacey, Michelle, Sarah, Trace, David, and Josh. The mazes were great and the scarers were awesome. If any of you have ever been to Universal Studios, you know about the back lot tour, well for the haunt fest they take you down there and they let you loose and you walk while being scared :) There was this one clown with a chainsaw that went up to my boyfriend and I and put the chainsaw in between his leg and then starts walking away and says, "Oops missed, sorry it was such a small package" Oh it was great. This week we are going to the Haunt at Knotts so we will see which one is better.

Yup! I am now a four eyed nerd with braces :)

Finally!

So I have always wanted a cat but never got one. So about a month after we moved into the apartment a friend of Stacey's found abandoned kittens in the field next to their house and we were able to take one. We got a girl kitten and named her Riley. Me and Stacey share custody of her :) She is a very playful kitten and loves to attack you at four in the morning when you are sleeping :) She does have her sweet moments. She loves to drink your water out of your cup, she will fall asleep on your lap when watching television . She also likes to chase and wag her tail and she also meets us at the door when we come home. When we first got her she had to be bottle fed because she was so young but not soon after she was able to start eating kitten formula mixed in with kitten food and now she is old enough to eat just kitten food alone.

Apartment Living

At the beginning of August, Stacey, Amy, and I got our own place. We moved into Mount Vista Apartments. We are in a three bedroom and on the upper level. Its pretty living on your own but home is still missed.

The first picture is my room. Wow it is actually clean :) The second one is mine and Stacey's bathroom. Amy has the master bedroom so she has her own bathroom. The third one is the dining room and then the last one is the living room. We got very lucky with our furniture. The couches were bought for us by Ryan (Stacey's boyfriend) for twenty dollars. The coffee table my parents found. We have a big screen television that was given to us by my boyfriend's parents. We got the refrigerator from my dad, he got it from his work. The microwave was a gift to us from my grandma and the dining room table was a gift to us from my boyfriend. So we were very lucky :)

Sin City

In July Stacey, Michelle, David, and I all went up to Vegas to visit Michelle's family. We spent the weekend there and we went to the lake rode on sea-doos and then we went to the strip. I have not been there in a long time and a lot has changed.

Getting ready to go on the strip and then that is all of us waiting outside of the Bellagio to see the water show. That night it actually started raining. We ended up seeing this show, the show at TI, we went into Paris and Cesar's Palace. I have never been in those Casinos, they were pretty neat.

Have not done this in a while

Wow the fourth of July was my last post. I have been really busy with school and work. And in August I moved into an apartment with one of my best friends and Amy. So that took a lot of my time too. I will post pictures of everything i have done since July today.

Happy Fourth of July.

I hope everybody enjoyed their Fourth of July. Since the Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays I had to do something this year. I threw a little Fourth of July BBQ and later in the afternoon we went to the fair grounds and saw fireworks. Kyle came down from navy training in Illinois and sis was home for the weekend so they got to celebrate with us. The grand finale of the fireworks at the fair grounds were pretty awesome but we did have a large group of rude people standing so close to our blankets that they were literally sitting on my parents laps. Other then that the day was pretty good.

Tattoo

Well today I went and got my first tattoo. All I can say is wow I got a really painful place to put it. I got it on the top of my foot and the tattoo artist said that the foot is one of the most painful spots. I went with Stacey, Michelle, and Nicole to get my tattoo done. Stacey also got her first tattoo which was on the foot and Michelle got her third tattoo on her wrist. No tats for Nicole! My tattoo artist was really cool and fun which made the process a little bit better. He told me what to expect and that it will hurt, which I liked because at-least he was honest. It was really painful and towards the end it got pretty unbearable but luckily it ended soon after that. My foot swelled up a pretty good size and was in a lot of pain after that tattoo was finished. It has gone down but it still hurts. Even though the tattoo hurt a lot I am glad I got it. It is a very elegant tattoo and is an artwork that I am glad will be with me forever but I do not think I will go get another one :)

Three years

Well Trace and I celebrated our three year anniversary yesterday. We both had to work so we kind of split up our activities. Friday we went to Silverwood lake and then came back and went and saw Night at the Museum. He had to work that night so we couldn't do much more. Then yesterday we went out to lunch and then went and saw another movie, Fighting. (we watch a lot of movies). it was a very good two days and i am glad that i have spent my last three years with him and looking forward to many more :) Trace and I went we got up there

We went hiking. Found some pretty cool stuff. We found tadpoles. Trace has never seen those.

A year older

It was Matthew's sixth birthday yesterday and he celebrated it by going to Chuckie Cheese and then coming home where he opened up presents and had some cupcakes and ice cream. He got martin matter, bubbles, some games, goggles and scuba gear for the pool and a lot of other stuff.

Beach camping

Classes were out this week because of spring break so we all decided to plan a little camping trip.

We got a campsite at San Clemente State Park and stayed a night. It was Trace, Josh, Nicki, Stacey, Kyle, Michelle, David, and I who all stayed the night and then Amy, Cameron, Nicole, and Ryan were up there for the day. The camping was pretty cool, it was my first big spring break plans with all my friends. We were up there on Monday and then went to Hunnigton beach on Tuesday after we packed up from San Clemente. Everything went pretty smoothly if you minus the parking tickets we got for parking in a spot that our parking passes did not cover and Stacey's battery dying on Tuesday :) All in all it was still a pretty good time.

Plain White T's

Well the concert went down without a hitch the other night. We drove up there and ate at subway before where a old guy whistled at Michelle, Stacey, Amy, and I. Then we went and stood in like for like an hour and half to get in. We were pretty close to the stage when we finally got in. There was two bands playing before them, Vedera and Danger Radio. Danger Radio was awesome, I had never heard them before so it was pretty cool. Plain White T's was awesome! At the end they were throwing out picks and drum sticks. Stacey caught a pick and then Michelle almost got a drum stick and i was pretty close to getting a pick too but didn't. We had a lot of fun and are hopefully going back in May to see Relient K play.
